BE A Resource for CPS Kids provides emergency goods and services to children under the care of Children’s Protective Services in Harris County. The mission of BEAR is to offer hope and help to abused and neglected children and to the caseworkers who protect them. BEAR has three programs that serve these children:

BEAR Necessities year round emergency program which meets the immediate needs of children ages 0 to 18 such as clothing, shoes, hygiene items, car seats, and portable cribs.

BEARing Gifts annual program that provides holiday wishes to over 8,000 children.

BEAR Back to School annual program that provides school supplies, school uniforms, and shoes for approximately 5,000 children returning to school.
