The Coalition for Pulmonary Fibrosis (CPF) is the largest nonprofit in the nation that seeks to cure Pulmonary Fibrosis (PF), a terminal lung disease that kills more people each year than breast cancer. The CPF (www.coalitionforpf.org) is an umbrella organization; it leads and partners with every stakeholder in the field in research, advocacy, and patient and physician education. Over 90 cents of every dollar raised funds programs, services, and research. CPF is less than 10 years old, it is small (4 staff members), and growing, and every dollar makes a significant and traceable difference to the achievement of the mission.
