Mr. Lewis is a Director with The Claro Group and is based in Chicago. He has over
29 years of experience as a senior financial and operations executive with a dynamic
background of management leadership in finance, accounting, government contracting,
treasury and strategic development. He has partnered with bankers, attorneys, valuation
experts, insurers and accounting and tax professionals in order to deliver exceptional
client service and advice to owners, executive management and boards of directors.
One of Dennis’ most recent engagements involved assisting a major Medicare/Medicaid
Claims Processor with the planning and preparation of its proposal to the State
of California Department of Healthcare Services for the implementation of a new
Medicaid Management Information System. This proposal effort resulted in the submission
of a comprehensive bid package to the State of California with an estimated contract
value of $2.1 billion.
Prior to joining The Claro Group, Dennis served as a Director in the Government
Contract practice at Huron Consulting Group servicing a variety of clients. Prior
to his career at Huron, Dennis was the Vice President Finance, Chief Financial Officer
and Corporate Controller at a $1 billion multinational public company specializing in
the manufacture/distribution of goods and services to the graphics arts and printing
industries. Furthermore, Dennis was a senior manager at Arthur Andersen LLP providing
valued financial, consulting and operational services to a wide variety of public
and nonpublic corporations and partnerships, including government contractors.
Dennis is a CPA in Illinois and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration
from Valparaiso University.
