Ms. Kantner specializes in providing solutions to clients facing complex insurance
claims related to asbestos, pollution, and human health exposures (APH). She has
extensive knowledge in generating damage estimations, modeling allocations, and
developing settlement/negotiation strategies to optimize insurance assets for policyholders.
Her experience includes insurance claims analysis related to environmental, asbestos,
PCBs, Agent Orange and silicone breast implants. She has prepared and presented
claims to the London Market and U.S. carriers that have successfully resulted in
millions of dollars in recoveries. Diana also provides other economic and financial
analyses to clients in a wide range of industries. She has quantified lost profits
associated with business interruption claims and developed problem solving scenarios
in a strategic and litigation consulting environment. Her clients include leading
companies in the chemical, oil & gas, energy, transportation, agricultural and pharmaceutical
industries.
Prior to joining The Claro Group, Diana’s professional experience included serving
as the Director of Financial Management for Northwestern University’s Feinberg School
of Medicine where she managed the school’s $400 million dollar annual budget. Prior
to that, Diana worked at Arthur Andersen for over seven years in a variety roles,
including Experienced Manager in the Financial Advisory Services practice.
Diana holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign.
