Mr. Kirschner has more than 13 years of experience in asbestos, pollution and health
hazard (APH) insurance claim analysis and recovery. He has spent time both as an
attorney litigating APH claims and as a consultant designing, developing and programming
numerous financial models to analyze policyholders' liabilities and expected recoveries
for APH claims.
Over the past five years, he has concentrated on developing data structures and
control procedures for the accurate tracking, payment, and reporting of mass tort
claims, primarily asbestos-related claims. Eric brings a unique combination of legal,
financial and programming experience to bear on the issues related to complex insurance
claim management and analysis.
Prior to joining The Claro Group, Eric was a principal with LECG, LLC's Insurance
Claims Consulting practice, and he was formerly the head of Financial and Quantitative
Analysis at Harbour Consulting, a unit of Swidler Berlin Shereff Friedman, LLP.
Eric received his BA from Colgate University, majoring in Mathematical Economics,
and his JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
