Mr. Kuhn is a principal with The Claro Group and is based in Chicago, Illinois.
He specializes in Spend Management and has worked with clients in all aspects of
the procurement process. He has experience in multiple industries, including: financial
services, public sector, retail, consumer products, and healthcare. He has assisted
clients in the areas of procurement process, organizational design, spend analysis,
sourcing, technology selection and implementation, supplier relationship management
and management reporting.
Lee has managed numerous engagements over the past several years, including an Enterprise
Spend Management implementation for a large financial services company, a Spend
Management program design and rollout for a large Midwestern state procurement agency,
and several procurement process and organizational reviews. In addition, he has
led multiple Strategic Sourcing initiatives, utilizing a variety of techniques,
including incumbent negotiations, online reverse auctions, requests for proposals
and demand management. He has assisted his clients not only in capturing savings
but also in sustaining the savings.
Lee's previous professional experience includes senior manager in the Sourcing and
Procurement practice at BearingPoint, and several roles in Business Consulting at
Arthur Andersen including Strategic Sourcing and Revenue Enhancement
Lee received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from the University of
Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. He is a member of the Illinois and American CPA societies.
