Joe Tess
Indiana University, BS in Finance/Operations Management
Joined The Claro Group in: July 2004: I felt working for a smaller
professional services firm would provide an opportunity to get a variety of work
experience as well as insure that you get recognition for the work you do.
My strongest skills are: Analytical and problem-solving skills.
The most important lesson I've learned: Always provide a high-quality
work product. You never know how your analysis may be used.
I get the most satisfaction from: Seeing my analysis or ideas incorporated
into the final work product.
The most interesting thing I did at work recently: I worked with
a project team to produce an expert report that was used in litigation between a
large bank and a reinsurance company.
The best piece of advice offered to me when I was starting my professional career:
Talk to the people who you will be working closely with. You spend the majority
of your time at work, so make sure your potential co-workers enjoy their jobs and
that they are the types of people you want to work with.
