About the Analyst Position

The Analyst position offers many intellectual challenges. As an Analyst, you will develop financial and economic analyses. You will also gain exposure to a wide variety of problems, tools, industries, and methods of inquiry. Work products may include analytical tools like charts, tables, databases, and graphs and written summaries of case and industry information. These materials are central to our work. Our standards of professionalism are rigorous. An Analyst is expected to work both independently and as part of a team. You will also be expected to exhibit sound judgment while solving problems, prioritize and demonstrate attention to detail in your work, and be flexible when new information is introduced into the analysis or if a client requests a change. We are looking for professionals who are dedicated to producing high quality analyses and are committed to their work.

A successful Analyst will have the following characteristics:

• A degree in accounting, finance, or economics
• The ability to interact with various levels of management, willing to take initiative, is team oriented
• The ability to think strategically and possess strong problem solving skills
• The ability to facilitate discussion and consult others; be an active listener and skilled communicator
• Strong attention to detail and comfortable managing large amounts of data.
