The Claro Group has enhanced its Disputes, Claims and Investigations (DCI) Analytics practice with the addition of two new managing directors with more than 35 years of combined experience.

Managing Director Liam A. Ferguson will join DCI Analytics and will be based in Los Angeles, and Courtney H. Fletcher will join DCI Analytics, also as a Managing Director in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office.

The Claro Group DCI Analytics professionals partner with in-house counsel and boutique law firms in applying data science to deliver a strategic, tailored approach to data analytics and electronic discovery. These services offer clients better preparedness, efficiency, and risk management on legal disputes and compliance issues.

Liam A. Ferguson brings more than 20 years of experience to The Claro Group. He is a nationally recognized expert in electronic discovery and structured data, including the acquisition, management and analysis of transactional, financial and operational data. In prior roles, he has been responsible for all activities relating to risk and compliance program consulting, information governance, complex data analytics and electronic discovery services.

He has made dozens of presentations and written articles on e-discovery and data analytics, including structured data. Ferguson received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

Courtney H. Fletcher has more than 15 years of experience and also is a nationally recognized electronic discovery expert, including significant experience providing litigation technology consulting services to legal and corporate entities. His experience includes data analytics, electronic discovery, litigation preparedness, and performing independent regulatory and compliance assessments. He has been responsible for the development and implementation of case and matter strategies that leverage technology to the clients’ best advantage in both litigation and investigations.

He has presented nationally on topics such as e-discovery, structured data and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), a framework that outlines standards for the recovery and discovery of digital data. Fletcher graduated magna cum laude from Washington College, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Psychology.
